Sign In & Activate This Device
First-time setup takes just a minute. You’ll sign in, enter the device licence code, and confirm which profiles (POS and/or KDS) this device should use.
To Get Started
Download the TechSuite POS app from the App Store, install it on your device and open the app to begin.
a. Get the licence code
In the Portal, go to Settings › Devices & Profiles › Device Licences. Create (or open) the licence for this device and copy its Licence Code. For a detailed walkthrough of licence setup and available options, see Register a New Device Licence.
b. Sign in to the app
Install and open the TechSuite POS app. Staff sign in with their TechSuite email and password (the staff passcode is for Time Clock, not app sign-in).
c. Sign in and enter the licence code
On the sign-in screen, enter your TechSuite Email, Password, and this device’s Licence Code, all on the same page. Click the Sign in to link the device to the licence and load the attached profile(s).
d. Finish activation
The app syncs your settings (menus, printers, availability). You’ll land on the POS Home screen ready to work.
Changing devices or roles later
To move or repurpose a device, update the licence and attached profile(s) in the Portal, then sign out on the device and re-enter the licence code. If you need to add or remove a printer or attach/detach a profile for this device, edit the licence in Manage Account > Devices & Profiles > Device Licences.
Quick troubleshooting
If activation fails, check the common issues below.
Invalid code
Check you copied the full code and the licence is active.
No modules
Ensure that your licence includes the profiles you want (e.g., POS and/or KDS). If you’re facing issues with POS or KDS functionality, edit the linked profiles in the Portal and sync the device again.
