Archive or Restore a Menu
In TechSuite, there is no permanent “delete” option for menus. Instead, you use Archive to hide them from active lists. This lets you restore a menu later if you need it again. Below are the steps to archive an existing menu and unarchive it when you want to bring it back.
Before You Begin
Open your Menu Library from the side navigation. You’ll see a list of all your existing menus. To archive or unarchive one, you need to locate it here. If you don’t see the menu you expect, check if it’s already archived (explained below).
Archiving a Menu
To archive a menu, follow these steps:
- In the Menu Library, find the menu you want to remove from active use. If you have many menus, scroll or use the search bar to locate the correct one.
- Click the options button
and select “Archive Menu”. - The menu is removed from your main Menu Library view. It isn’t deleted, but safely moved to the Archives section, where you can restore it at any time.
Restore a Menu
If you want to bring back an archived menu, follow these steps:
- In TechSuite portal, go to Settings > Archives and go to the Menus tab.
- Locate the menu you previously archived.
- Click the
Unarchive
icon. The menu is restored to your active
Menu Library list and can be edited or published
as normal.
Once restored, your menu retains all categories, items, and branch connections exactly as before.
