Clock In and Clock Out on POS

Each staff member must clock in at the start of their shift and clock out at the end. This ensures accurate tracking of attendance and working hours, which managers can review in the Staff Time Clock section of the TechSuite Portal. Clocking in and out is done directly on the POS device using each user’s personal 6-digit passcode.

Clock In

a. Open Time Clock

Tap Time Clock on the POS Home screen.

b. Enter Passcode

On the keypad, enter your 6-digit passcode to identify yourself.

c. Review Details

The confirmation screen shows the current date/time, your name, and your last clock-out time.

Clock In Confirmation

d. Clock In

Tap Clock In to start your shift. Your start time is recorded immediately.

Clock Out

a. Open Time Clock

From the POS Home screen, tap Time Clock.

b. Enter Passcode

Enter your 6-digit passcode on the keypad.

c. Review Details

The confirmation screen shows the current date/time, your name, and your last clock-in time.

Clock Out Confirmation

d. Clock Out

Tap Clock Out to end your shift. The time is recorded and appears in the Staff Time Clock section in the Portal.

Notes & Tips

  • Unique passcodes: Each staff member has a personal 6-digit passcode. Managers can reset these in the Portal if needed.
  • What the passcode is for: Your passcode is used for Time Clock and, depending on POS Profile settings, may be required for certain secure actions on POS. App sign-in still uses your TechSuite email and password.
  • Remember to clock out: The system does not automatically clock out at end of the day. If a user forgets to clock out, the shift remains open until their next action.
  • Who can view or export Time Clock data: Only authorised users (e.g., admins/managers) can view or export Time Clock data in the Portal.
