Order Notifications Sound Settings
Order alert sounds help your team notice new orders the moment they arrive. You can choose a built-in sound and decide how long it should play so busy stations don’t miss anything. (Custom uploads aren’t supported, pick from the system sounds.)
To Get Started
In the TechSuite portal, go to Orders > Active Orders, then click the Sound Button
in the top-right to open Sound Settings Panel. From there you can preview a sound with the play icon, pick the one you like, and choose how long it should play when a new order comes in.
a. Select Time for Playing Sound
Choose how long the alert plays when a new order arrives:
- Until the order is accepted: The sound will continue playing on loop until a staff member accepts the order. Ideal for busy environments where quick response is essential.
- Only once: The sound plays a single time when the order arrives. Best if your team is consistently monitoring the screen.
- No sound: Disables audio alerts entirely. Use this option if visual notifications are enough for your workflow.
b. Sound Name
Pick one of the built-in sounds (Bell, Flute, Goat). Use the play button to preview before selecting. New or custom sounds can’t be added.
This helps teams stay responsive during busy hours.
