Stock Control Page Overview

The Stock Control section is your real-time dashboard for monitoring and adjusting inventory levels across all your locations. It gives you a clear view of current stock quantities, value, alerts, and historical stock data—all in one place.

You can filter by branch, storage location, category, or even a specific date and time, making it easy to check availability, perform audits, and make informed inventory decisions. Whether you’re restocking, correcting an error, or just reviewing your supply situation, Stock Control helps you stay accurate and up to date.

Access Stock Management

a. Accessing the Stock Control Page

To access Stock Control, log in to the TechSuite Management Portal and navigate to Inventory > Stock Control from the left-hand sidebar. You’ll see a full list of supply items, each showing their stock quantities, alert thresholds, assigned branches, and more—all based on the selected location and time.

b. Using Filters

At the top of the Stock Control page, you’ll find filter tools to help you narrow your view and focus on the data you need.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • b.1. Branch: Choose which branch’s inventory you want to view.
  • b.2. Inventory Location: Filter by storage area (e.g. Main Storage, Cold Room).
  • b.3. Category: Focus on specific item categories like Dairy, Packaging, or Dry Goods.
  • b.4. Stock Level Time: Use the calendar to view stock data from a past date and time—perfect for audits and historical checks.

These filters update the item list in real time, making it easier to locate and act on the inventory data that matters most.

c. Stock Table and Columns

The main table displays a row for each supply item with all key stock details. Here’s what each column shows:

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • c.1. Image(s), Name, and Tags: At the top, you’ll see the item’s image(s), name, description, main price, and all preset item tags.
  • c.2. Item Name: The name of the inventory item.
  • c.3. Category: The category it belongs to.
  • c.4. Unit The unit of measurement used (e.g. Kg, Bottle, Pack).
  • c.5. Stock Quantity: Current quantity in stock. If this falls below 0, a red warning icon will appear.
  • c.6. Stock Value: The current value of the stock for that item.
  • c.7. Alert Quantity: The minimum stock level set to trigger a low stock alert.
  • c.8. SKU: The optional Stock Keeping Unit identifier.
  • c.8. Branch: Which branch this stock data belongs to.
  • c.8. Inventory Location: The physical storage location within the branch.

This layout helps you instantly assess which items need attention, restocking, or review.

d. Adjusting Stock Levels and Values

You can manually update any stock data using the three-dot Options button at the end of each row.

You’ll see two actions:

  • Action 1 Stock Level Adjustment: Change the current stock quantity, such as after a stock count, delivery, or correction.
  • Action 2 Stock Value Adjustment:  Update the item’s monetary stock value to reflect recent changes in cost, damage, or pricing.
